Feeler gauges are a type of thickness gauge which are used to measure narrow slots or gaps between surfaces. A feeler gauge is typically made up of a series of metal blades (often tempered steel) each ground to a specific thickness which is marked in thousandths or millimeters. Many models are designed so that a technician can stack multiple blades together to determine clearance.

J.A. King laboratories are ISO 17025 accredited to perform feeler gauge calibration up to one inch. Our feeler gauge calibration procedure includes measurements at multiple test points, throughout the range of the feeler gauge set using NIST traceable standards.
