Precision Measurement Equipment Obsolescence Tool

Technology is changing and improving every day. This means that some of your equipment may be (or become) obsolete. If you have older equipment, there are a few things to consider:

  • Has your production process changed since you purchased the equipment? If so, then you may need to upgrade to keep pace with your improved processes.
  • Has your equipment been discontinued? Once an item is discontinued by the manufacturer, replacement parts may be limited or unavailable.
  • How critical is the equipment to your process? What would happen if it were to fail and replacement parts were unavailable? Being proactive in regards to obsolete equipment can reduce or prevent downtime.

With over 50 product lines represented, Cross is at the leading edge of technology with the latest precision measurement equipment. Since we have direct access to the latest technology with so many brands, we also know first hand when equipment becomes obsolete.

Whether parts are unavailable, models are discontinued but in stock while items last, or completely unavailable,  Cross has the latest updates so you are aware. Take a look at the equipment manufacturers in our system to see if your equipment and process are at risk and stay up to date as we add equipment to our database.
