In 2008 J. A. King & Company’s Integrated Solutions Division worked with Michael S. Becker to develop a small-scale production tracking & inventory management system. By developing the inventory management system, it involved handling customer order details, keeping accurate measurement of the inventory produced, or preparing shipments for the loading dock—the production tracking from J.A. King helped them throughout their business process.

Technical System Summary for Inventory Management:

• Utilized custom PC program to load & retrieve data involved with Inventory Management System
• Scale check-weighed & labeled cases of finished product before warehousing.
• Designed customer database interface used within order entry screens.
• Current order data shared with portable computer w/integrated barcode scanner.
• Cases of finished product scanned within warehouse applied toward current open-orders to produce packing lists & invoices on PC.
• Provided custom reporting tool to help with customer order analysis on PC.

• Programmable scale instrument with advanced communications & data storage.
• Label printer with custom case label design.
• PC programming for custom communication & data entry capabilities.
• Mobile device custom programmed to expedite order fulfillment & track inventory.
