Quality

J.A. King & Co places an extraordinary emphasis on quality and safety across the entire organization. Our quality team is dedicated to the highest quality standards pursuant to the ISO 17025 quality system.

In the early 1990′s, J.A. King & Co adopted the ISO 9000 standard and we have since built our ISO 17025 quality program from the ground up. A2LA trained, our Quality Manager has worked with the ISO standard for 20 years and has proved a valuable resource to both J.A. King & Co and our many customers. Military trained, our Technical Manager has also worked with the ISO standard for 20 years and represents the core of our metrology technical knowledge.

Together, our quality team oversees our 10 locations, including our 6 fully A2LA accredited ISO 17025 calibration labs. In addition, J.A. King & Co has worked with many of our customers in setting up their own ISO programs, as well as ISO auditing, and supplier auditing pursuant to the ISO 17025 standard.

Safety

All of our calibration technicians are required to undergo routine in-house safety training, including but not limited to:

• Lock-Out Tag-Out
• Electrical Safety/ARC Flash
• HAZCOM
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Confined Space

In addition, each calibration technician attends an annual safety training with the Mid-Atlantic Safety Council as well as various site specific safety trainings.
